AFSA

AFSA Blog

AFSA members have access to specially negotiated group travel rates through the AFSA Travel Desk.
AFSA supports a strong, cabinet-level Secretary of Education, a fully staffed U.S. Department of Education, and robust federal programs that serve disadvantaged students, students with disabilities, and the educators and school leaders who support them.

This week, AFSA celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of advocating for school leaders and strengthening public education.

Princess R. Moss of Virginia was elected president, Noel Candelaria of Texas was elected vice president, and Robert Varela Rodriguez of California was elected secretary-treasurer.
As we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we honor not only our history but also the enduring promise of American democracy.
