The purpose of the American Federation of School Administrators (AFSA) constitutional convention is to consider proposed amendments to the AFSA Constitution, adopt resolutions, elect officers and General Executive Board (GEB) members, and conduct such other business as may properly come before it.
Pursuant to the decision of the AFSA GEB and the provisions of the AFSA Constitution, the 16th Triennial Constitutional Convention will be held in person on July 21–23, 2022, at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Though travel restrictions may change, the current AFSA travel policy for this meeting is that all attendees be fully vaccinated, and face masks will be required for all sessions and functions. Puerto Rico travel restrictions can be found here.
