MCAAP has three primary functions:
- Collectively bargain and safeguard salaries, benefits and other working conditions through our negotiated agreement with MCPS
- Represent members as a major stakeholder in developing and implementing initiatives and programs affecting children and schools thorughout the county
- Provide valuable information, assistance and advocacy to and on behalf of all our MCAAP/MCBOA members.
Our Mission
Improve the educational process for students by helping members become more effective in their roles as educational leaders.
Provide a single, coordinated voice for members to promote and preserve sound administrative practices
Address the interest of members through political and legislative action, community outreach and continuing educational oppurtunities
Initiate and encourage cooperative efforts with professional organizations and others to promote and give leadership in matters of mutual concern
Represent members on educational and professional concerns and to advance and protect the professional status and welfare of members
Serve as the exclusive collective bargaining representative for all Administrators and Supervisors in Montgomery County Public Schools
We are an active partner and voice within the school system and our two other employee organizations which represent our teachers and support professionals. Our partnership provides constant collaboration, communication and pushes to create a strong foundation which values a culture of respect in the work place.
