How to Organize a Union — Webinar

Are you a professional who is interested in organizing a union in your workplace, but do not know how to talk to your co-workers about forming a union? Join us for a webinar on how professionals can start the process of forming a union by having conversations with their co-workers. This educational webinar will take place on Zoom at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025

During this webinar, attendees will learn some basics about unions, as well as hear from professionals who recently formed a union. The event will include the following:

  • An overview of professionals’ workplace rights.
  • A run-through of the steps to forming a union.
  • A discussion with members of the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) about their experiences starting conversations with co-workers.

This event is meant to provide attendees with the knowledge they need to start organizing a union in their workplace.
